The Horseneck conservation project will be help on Saturday October 14, 2023 with a start time of 9:30. It will consist of installing snow fence across the main beach. We will meet at the main beach as the campground is open. Please bring work gloves and if some of you could bring pliers and shovels, that would be greatly appreciated.
For those of you interested in camping, the park has put aside 15 sites for MBBA volunteers for Friday, Oct 13 to Mon Oct 16. These sites have electricity only, water is available at a few spigots spread out throughout the park. The dump station will be open.
If you are interested in a site, please let me know by texting me at 508-272-9287, or email at Skelly529@aol.com. I will be assigning members specific site numbers on a first come basis. There is also a parking lot (no hookups, no generators) adjacent to the blocked off sites in which members may park. I'm not sure if the park will block off additional sites so please let me know if you would like a site and I will do the best I can to accommodate you.
Thank you and hope we get a great turnout!
